Embrace of the irreversible

This composition, which I made using Photoshop,
is representative of eco-anxiety. Due to climate change, this anxiety-provoking apprehension linked to the
worrying fate of our planet is increasingly noticed
particularly among young people, since these are irreversible
consequences that will necessarily affect their lives, but also those of future
generations. In this
composition, the emotion put forward is that of helplessness.
My subject, unlike the current situation, is
invaded by nature. I chose a photograph of my
subject with a rather neutral expression, absent of
resistance, to symbolize a future of which we no longer have
certainty, or even control.
